Precious Moments – Again

Nothing precious here…lol. But today was kinda of a wasted half day cos Mom wanted to use the car, so end up take 1/2 day but got nowhere to go cos too lazy to take bus. Lol. After napping in the afternoon (good rest. and rare…unlike some surveyor I know who seems to be doing it everytime I call him) got a call from Ms. Apple of PM Raffles City, so decided to make the brave choice of taking the bus….wow. lol.

Sunshine and sunset….no time to catch the sun. lol

New DSLR….and other brief crap updates.

Ok nothing new about this. Lol….from the people that read (and derive their own opinion) this load of crap anyway.

I realize now that with DSLR…you really have to play with the settings…. even on exposure. lol…long way to learn…but with a nice fat target like Asher, hehe….

Last three taken under low light conditions…and no flash. not too bad eh

Recent event….Christening for my project lead ship of her class….60m AHTS (Thats Anchor Handling Tug/Supply Vessel) to the noobs

 

And then there was mother’s day…

Forgive some of the photos…did not know how to judge flash at theat point yet….only 2-days old…lol

Dinner @ Peach Garden

Hello.

 

So erm…I think I was supposed to write about my recent trip in Corea (No, its not a spelling mistake)…but I think I’ll skip ahead for awhile (cos I’m lazy, wahaha) and talk about dinner last night.

 

Now what was so special?

 

Hmm…unlimited servings of Peking Duck.

 

LOL.

 

Ok, that was a promotional offer from Peach Garden, which had come highly recommended from my dear wifey, who once went for a 1000 buck dinner. Now one would expect a $1000 dinner to taste, like, real good, eles you’d go to the kitchen to slap the chef to hell and beyond. In any case, off we went, together with Asher, although he cant eat, yet, to the 33rd flr of OCBC Ctr to try the food. (not the 1000 dollar one, more like 100 dollar one. LOL)

 

Tried to get KK to come, but even UNLIMITED servings of the duck could not sway you fat ass from Pandan Road to the Restaurant. So he can just drool over the photos.

 

LOL

 

In order as follows;

1. Peking Duck, 1st Serving. LOL

2. Sharkfin & Prawn w/ Pumpkin and Fish Roe soup. No smell of pumpkin, and tastes like erm.. cream of sharkfin. LOL

3. Chicken Chop

4. Sole Fillet with mushroom in pohpiah skin wrapped

5. More peking duck….this was the 7th srving, I think.

6 & 7. Dessert…1 cold and 1 hot. The chng tng was a refreshing take….not too sweet and lots of liao…LOL

Oh yes, there was another ee-fu mian with roast duck meat…v nice…kena sapu b4 I got photos. so…. too bad. haha

 

Service: Excellent…at least 2 staff to every 3 tables, if not more.

Erm…update…sorta

Lol…

I figure its no use pasting photos of my son, cos its all over facebook…and about 1,000,000x more people visit facebook than my blog anyway, so I guess the odds are much better someone will stumble on Asher’s facebook and go swooning all over him rather than on my blog. Hahahahaa…

 

So erm…I dont think I will drone on about what ever happened over the past 3 months…but in summary;

- Work…as usual…

- Discovered the canteen’s muslim cook REALLY knows how to cook. Mamma mia…no photos cos the food was gone from the galley too fast. Lol.

- New boss in office (really recent…like last week)

- New application to play with photos…Photofunia…it rocks…see photos below

- Janice & Sew getting married, and going nuts over it

- Tempers of my little boy (Selective one some more)

- Patricia getting married….
